Ao longo dos anos fiz várias marinas como essa, dunas com céu azul e barcos. O mar sempre é uma inspiração e um desafio, pois ele está em constante movimento, e é diretamente influenciado pelas cores do céu e de seu leito, ambos equilibrados através da representação da transparência da água. E essa complexidade é que torna a água um elemento tão forte na pintura.

Throughout the years, I’ve painted many marinas like this, with blue sky, dunes and boats. Painting the sea has always been an inspiration and a challenge, because it is in constant motion, and is directly influenced by the colors of the sky and of the seabed, both of which are balanced by the transparence of the water.And because of such complexity, the water becomes the strongest element in the painting.
